Mobile station for melting out TNT and other melt cast explosives from artillery projectiles by indirect steam heating.
Capacity adjustable by number of operation boxes
- Exchangeable seats for different projectile calibers
- Nominal working cycle 1 hour for 100MM HE projectiles
- Applicable also for wax-bonded pressed charges in HEAT or AP projectiles
Indirect heating by steam in boxes at atmospheric pressure
- Steam generator
- Filters and oil separators for the water condensate
- Different TNT processing methods available (granulation, casting boosters etc.)
- Remote operation from a control room
