Lightweight Gas-Tight Explosion-Resistant Transport and Storage Containers
These products are designed to fully protect life and property in case of accidental explosion of stored or transported explosive materials. Being explosion-resistant and completely gas-tight, these containers will contain inside it all the damaging effects of explosion – shock wave, overpressure, acoustic wave, accelerated fragments, flame, and toxic hot gases. Personnel can thus stay in very close proximity to these containers if they are properly used, even in the case of accidental explosion, without the risk of being harmed in any way.
All the containers were tested for resistance against repeated shots of charges exceeding their nominal guaranteed capacity. The only recognizable effects of explosion of a full-capacity charge inside the containers are sound, similar to hitting a small hammer to anvil, and peeled off lacquer. Lightweight containers can slightly bulge in place where the charge was positioned. Explosions inside the containers generate no movement or significant vibrations to the containers.
Four types of gas-tight portable containers are offered (J-025G, J-120G1, J-200G, J-500G), differing in their capacity (TNT equiv.), internal volume, total weight and fragment resistance. Mobile unit PULSAR is also offered for decontamination of the interior of the containers after eventual explosion of toxic materials.
